New Plugins

Admin Log

Displays a list of all the admin pages accessed in the Blog admin area. This is updated every time a page in the admin area is accessed. Information displayed includes: admin page accessed, user, and time of access.

Add URL to Feed

It is designed to make sure all feed readers know where the feed post content has come from. All too often feed content is scraped, re-used and then distributed on other sites without acknowledgement to the original author.

Stock Quotes

This WordPress plugin allows you to easily display stock quotes on your website. The output of the plugin is designed to be minimal – the stock symbol, last price, and change amount are shown. You can configure the output in the options page for the plugin. The data is retrieved from Yahoo finance.

GalleryShot

GalleryShot SW is a WordPress plugin (sorry, no blogger version is available) which displays your sites recent images from posts. Each image is then linked to the post associated with it. When someone moves their cursor across an image, the title of the post is displayed and the image slightly increases–you can change this within the settings panel.

  2. I also wanted to go see what GalleryShot is about but no link. I would think developers would want their work to spread by giving it away for free.

      I might even be able to spare the 2 bux, but I’d at least want to test it first. Now I’m interested enough in the concept to start researching it for myself! 🙂

    I like the idea behind the “Add URL To Feed” plugin, but wouldn’t it be more effective to link to the actual post as opposed to the homepage (or both)?

  5. re. GalleryShot , you may all know the (free) plugin already, but I can recommend RandomImage – http://justinsomnia.org/2005/0.....wordpress/ (just a happy user of his code on some of my sites, not connected to the author).
