Blogroll Ad Network Where it really gets interesting is that the bloggers who opt into the program don’t just earn dollars but also a rotating link to their site in a special Sponsored Blogroll box that sits right on the Washington Post home page. There is a thought. Everyone wins (for the most part) beside the reader who gets to see more ads.

CSS Optimizers David over at BloggingPro has published an analysis of CSS Optimization tools commonly available and of how they perform against popular tools, blogs and sites such as Digg, Slashdot and Downloads.com. Some of these optimizers will remove valuable white spaces and comments from your CSS. So it might be worth the time to create an “edit” copy and an online copy.

Sorry for the interruptions

I was away at my honeymoon and internet connections from Jamaica suck (at least from the Sandals resort in Whitehouse). There was some awry code coupled with persistent spammers that caused havoc. My heartfelt thanks to Carthik for trying very hard to fix things, I just could not get to the right tools in time and he did not have enough access credentials. Everything should be back to normal. Thanks for your patience and to everyone that wrote in to report problems. In other news, I hear Wordcamp was a rip-roaring success. I almost thought about it once this past week while I was zoning out on a float in the massive pool next to the swim up bar. 😉

I came across this neat tutorial that helps you create a home page for you blog with thumbnails for each article. It is a very detailed guide, and deals with modding the default Kubrick theme. The code snippets etc will be able to guide you through doing the same for other times, provided you are comfortable with editing php files.
