While it is not surprising, it is pretty fun to see that many WordPress theme designers have high Technorati ranks. For example, one designer whose themes have been mentioned here is ranked as high as #4 with more than 15 000 incoming links. Another one is #15, and yet another one has just made it to the top-30. Try to search for your favorite theme designers URL and you will see what I mean.

However, theme designers are automatically (and of course correctly) excluded from the “Top 100 blogs” list since they get a lot of “automatic” credit links, so they miss a lot of recognition. Why try to attract the bloggers on the “Top 100 blogs” list, when there is just as much value in getting a link from an established WordPress theme designer?

I’d love to see a list of the highest ranked theme designers on Technorati, as they are the unknown authority on the blogscene. Anyone? 😀
