AIM Pages: AJAXier, cleaner and nicer than Myspace but will AIM really be any competition? Would the allure or pre-population of your AIM buddies make you switch from Myspace? Heck, do you have a Myspace page?

Nope, nope, & nope. Really, I have no use for anything outside of my WordPress setup.

  2. Matt says:

A myspace page ? are you kidding ?!?

  3. Fonzo says:

Bah! I checked out a few of the profiles, and it reminds me a LOT of msn spaces. And I do NOT like msn spaces. As for competition to myspace; nope. I have a myspace page, hate it, but still use it because so many of my friends use it. I just do not see this (or any other social networking site) beating myspace. The only chance it (AIM) has is if myspace pulls a Friendster and gives its users incentive to leave.

five thumbs down… what we need is a plugin that comes bundled with wordpress that connects us to WordPressSpace and we can all socially connect there ;-)!!!!

No MySpace. No MSN Spaces. No Yahoo! 360. And no AIM Page. It’s enough that using their messengers gives a profile page to fill out, which I then feel obligated to keep up-to-date.

And I’ve added Frappr to that list of profiles as well. So no, AIM Pages doesn’t sound too appealing to me.

Nice. It’s doing 500 Server Error now due to the Jasper puking itself.
