decaffeinated archives :: Photon 1.0: Easily post photos stored in your iPhoto account to your Movable Type or Typepad blog. “No muss, no fuss” the site promises. The designs are pretty nice but I would like to know how usable this is.

Due to the overwhelming interest, but the disconcerting lack of entries, I have decided to extend the Weblogtoolscollection.com Graphics Competition for another week. I have received one entry so far from OF Jay. A lot of people have expressed their desires and have wanted to enter something, but I have nothing to judge! So if you were planning to work on something or were halfway through, fear no more because now you have lots of time. Thanks to everyone.

There are plugins available for Textpattern and Movable Type systems as well. Anyone use this yet?

Adam has come up with a script to publish his “Daily Source Code” show via MP3s on the web. It is written for Mac OS X and uses the metaWeblog API. I wish Windows had a scripting language that would work with XMLRPC of some kind.

When does a blog start getting annoying to read? How many posts can be too many posts? I know of at least a few bloggers (including myself) that post regularly throughout the day. Some of these posts are lengthy and more involved, while others are small links with a little explanation of the link. Some of the very prolific posters (that come to mind right away) include: Photomatt Dave Scoble Om Some of the people that post infrequently include: Pilgrim Dunstan Zeller Shea And yet, there are some others that make it a point (or so it seems) to post once a day, everyday Alex Anne Jeremy Now, it is very difficult to draw any strong conclusion from this information because almost every one of the blogs listed above are top notch and have their own place in the blogosphere. Dave blogs a lot. Period. He blogs a lot, provides […]
