I added a development wiki to the sidebar. It will be used for my own thought collection purposes and wiki editing is authenticated by WordPress. All authors in this blog have access to wiki editing. Check there for to-do lists, requests, ideas etc. Thanks to photomatt for the idea. This will be released soon as an add-on for WordPress 1.2 Mingus.

There were some issues with text encoding with Pictorialis, expecially with accented characters. This issue has been resolved. Find the wp-includes folder inside your pictorialis folder and the functions-formatting.php file inside that folder. Rename that file and replace it with the one downloaded from here: http://weblogtoolscollection.com/b2-img/functions-formatting.phps Thats all.

Jonathan Schwartz’s Weblog: How cool is blogging now that Sun’s COO Jonathan Scwartz has a blog? My question for everyone (especially his lackeys) is whether the material is actually thought out and typed in by him or put into nicely formatted, well worded paragraphs by some media manager? Oh, and Jonathan, if you are reading, some work on validation and a little character encoding would be nice. 🙂

Cool Scripts, WordPress Hack

Kitten has released version 2.0 of her Spam Words Plugin: After the recent comment and pingback flood that I had overnight, I think this is going to be the solution. As usual, Kitten has done a great job with this upgrade to her original spam words plugin. Here are some of the details of the upgrade: # User approval and editing of the items being added to the spam list before they’re added. # The “Delete Comments as Spam” button is now inserted via the DOM, and no longer requires editing of core files. # Backwards compatible with version 1.1. So if you’ve already edited edit-comments.php you can install version 2.0 and it won’t break your page. # Complete documentation. # GPG signed code to ensure that it hasn’t been tampered with. This is pretty slick(pending implementation), Thanks Kitten!!
