All i know is that the last couple of weeks spam is quite a lot on Gmail and some spam messages escape the filters and appear in my indox. It’s weird though, since all those messages made it to my inbox looked like typical spam to me. Maybe Google is messing with something new?

I haven’t been getting this happening to me, at least I’m pretty sure I haven’t. Let me just check my GMail spam folder…

Nope, I haven’t been experiencing this at all. Sorry I can’t help you out.

perhaps this would be more appropriate in a gmail support group, than here, where it shows up in everyone’s wordpress dashboard.

I’m same as Titanus; I use it as a online spam blocker, but their filters seem to be shot to shit now :(

    I’m inclined to agree.
With great power come great responsibility…

lol, maybe he wanted it to show up on everyone’s dashboard to get the attention for this obviously disasterous bug?
If only there was a way to route email via my blog, run it through akismet and spam karma 2; then send it back…
oh wait, my host is already complaining about the load as it is…..

It seems to be happening @ Yahoo! as well. I first noticed it a couple of months ago. The mail gets routed to yahoo!’s bulk mail folder, AND it gets delivered via POP. I contacted Yahoo! (snicker). No reply… that must mean they’re busily working on it

Bad news: the spam-warrior company BlueSecurity’s e-mail database for anti-spamming (also the BlueFrog software’s db) has been stolen by some wicked and lo-self-esteemed spammer&hackers a few days ago. So, we are all getting more and more spams these days. For more info:
