- Headers: Ctrl+[number] to get various header sizes on highlighted text. Thanks Henk
Have any more to share with us that we might have missed?
Mark: I’ll go through the rest of them later, but on a Mac, most of the first group are accessible with CTRL-letter. I don’t think that it’s ALT-SHIFT-letter for many of those on Windows … most of those I do with just an ALT-letter. Of course, I’ve also re-configured my Firefox config file. đ
It’s alt-shift for me. What would need to be changed in the config file to be able to drop the shift?
And this is a great tip, Mark. Thanks for pointing it out. It should make my life a whole lot easier.
Anybody know how to use hotkeys at Opera browser?
[]’s!
Very useful, thanks for this!
Cool!
I’m using the beta of Safari 3 on a Mac and have the visual editor turned off. I need to use shift-control, but apart from that, it looks as if the first group, and some of the second group, work with the modifier keys I just mentioned. One other which you don’t appear to have listed is:
 ctrl-shift-m  iMg  (insert IMG url)
Pity the shortcuts don’t work in Comment boxes! đ
Highlight a portion of text and give ctrl-4 and you get header h4. ctrl-2 for header h2 etc.
what product will be choose for protection spam?.
I have 30 computers connected in network. for your ideas PiousPirate2006@wikichat.com
The ALT-SHIFT vs. just ALT on those shortcuts is entirely browser dependent. Firefox and IE use different keystrokes to send key commands to the javascript engine.
Try it in IE and Firefox and you’ll see what I mean.
How do you center? I tried “Alt Shift C” but it made “code”. đ
you’ll notice that you have the same hotkey listed for code and center. when i try it, i get centered.
another hotkey: Shift + Enter: line break
