RSS Advertising Options A somewhat comprehensive listing and review of advertising options on your RSS feeds. Darren posts about his experience with a few of these options. I refuse to post ads on my feeds but this might be useful to others looking to further monetize their blogs.

  1. You know, I’ve thought about this a lot and I don’t get what the point of refusing to monetize one’s RSS feeds is. You’re obviously doing it here on this site, so what’s the difference? I no longer see one. Did you used to not want to put ads on the site itself as well and if so what made you change your mind?

  2. Firstly, think about where my blog’s RSS feed is used. Secondly, just as you hypothesized, there is already enough advertising on the main blog, and I feel that polluting the feed is not necessary.
