The idea for this plugin came from the wonderfull Hebrew Date-plugin by KosherJava. Unfortunately, that plugin didn’t have the possibility to display the current date in Hebrew on a sidebar.
So, I made a (very) simple plugin that does just that: show the current date in de sidebar, in fonetic Hebrew.
