hi dynamicwp - you are right! in fact, i tried to make it very similar to twitter! it uses its API to pull down the twitter styling!
I really like the theme gabriel, clever use of the twitter style ;)

This is a different theme. Are you allowed to do that? I realize you're using cURL and the Twitter API so the question isn't so much technical (as in CAN you) but MAY you?
