Professional Blogger is a premium child theme based on the great Genesis WordPress Framework!

The Professional Blogger theme was designed for serious blogger who need to call attention on blog’s content. We took inspiration from the recent redesign of A-List blog like Chris Brogan, Copy Blogger, ProBlogger etc.

If it’s your writings (or photos, or videos) that you want to highlight, Professional Blogger is for you.

The Professional Blogger Theme let you customize itself:

    • You have 5 different colors combination at your fingertips (and you can set the background color like you want)
    • You can set how many “full text” post show on home page, followed by a custom number of excerpt (teasers)
    • You have 3 widget area in the footer to recall the important things a casual visitors need to know
    • You can take advantage of the full widgetized right header area to show your social media icons (using the inclued plugin) or to place an ads, etc
    • You have the great Genesis “6 layout” choices as well all the others Genesis great features (SEO, author boxes, custom menu, etc).

It's released as a commercial supported theme, but it's fully GPL (Open Source) .

Note that it requires the Genesis Framework (the download link it's on the Professional Blogger page)

  2. Wow... a commercial GPL theme. That's a new one for me. Oh well... I learn something new every day. At any rate, I'm moving this post to Premium Themes.

Ops... sorry for the wrong thread!

Well, there are many many commercial GPL themes, just for example all the commercial themes listed on http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/commercial/
Most of the famous one, like StudioPress are fully GPL and commercial

For the majority of commercial GPL themes what you pay for is the support from the author.

It's an interesting option because the end user have all the freedom he needs and the authors can be supported to develop and enhache their themes.

btw, hope you like the theme ;-)

  4. Nice looking Genesis child theme. Have you thought about releasing it on ThemeGarden? They feature a lot of Genesis child themes.

    Thank you Len,
yes I submitted it to Theme Garden in december, but theys haven't still approved it.
Maybe they ar lloking for something different or have different priority... don't know...
It's very difficult to let people know about a new theme, I'm experimenting this (sad) truth myself in this days ;-)
