I just published my first WordPress plugin called Verse Links. It searches for Bible verse references withing blog posts or comments and links them to a reference site of your choice. It supports eight of the major sites by default but can be easily extended by providing the url pattern for any site. The sites included by default are:

• BibleGateway.com
• BibleStudyTools.com
• BlueLetterBible.org
• GodVine.com
• ScriptureText.com
• YouVersion.com
