Feel free to download the theme and do whatever you like with it — but do NOT remove the copyright information in the footer. Please do not alter the footer at all. That way you´ll keep us bringing you FREE themes.

Although this doesn't appear to be a sponsored theme, why does the image source url in the footer point to wpgold.org/wp-content/themes/wp-gold/img/rss.jpg? Is it really necessary that the theme's images have to be served externally? Also, many WordPress users choose to remove the Powered by WordPress link - particularly the part that tells what version is being used.
It might be better to request that users leave your credits intact, but allow them to make any other alterations they see fit to make.
It is not a sponsored theme. The image source pointing to wpgold.org was my mistake, as I developed the theme on a non existent adress wpgold.org. I am sorry for not noticing that before putting the theme up for download. I will correct that (and other possible mistakes) tonight.
Of course the "Powered by" link may be removed. I agree and thank you for pointing that out for me. I´ll try to be clearer the next time.
It´s now fixed. No images are served externally. Once again, I apologize for my mistake.
Thanks for taking care of that so quickly. It was just a minor detail, and I hope it doesn't dissuade anyone from downloading a very attractive and innovative theme.
