I have released Live Press 1.2.0, the next generation of the Live Journal Plugin Pack.
Live Press is a Live Journal compatibility and synchronization plugin. It is designed to let WordPress users continue to use their Live Journal accounts with minimal hassle. It adds support for moods, music, synching posts between WordPress and Live Journal accounts and implements the lj-user and lj-cut tags in WordPress.

MooseCandy is a little plugin to help you stick content into your WordPress layout, just before a post. You can read more about it above and read the comments in the code for usage instructions.

UPDATE TO THE LATEST VERSION NOW!!!
Sorry to say, I made a bit mistake and I suggest everyone upgrade to the latest version of the LJ plugins. You can download the whoe set here otherwise look in your plugins admin interface to see the url for the individual packages. After upgrading, delete ljsynch.config.inc.
Again, very sorry, it should be fixed with the new versions.
I have released an updated version of the LiveJournal Plugin pack which you can read about here
Highlights include better multiple user support, userpic support, posting to groups and the ability to post to LJ so that only certain LJers can see the post.
Post2Mail - This plugin allows you to automatically e-mail selected people when a post is published on your blog. Also useful for alerting an administrator when a post has been published on the blog. Configuration is done in the post2mail.config.inc file which has comments to get you started.

Unteins (Jason Goldsmith) has released a set of plugins for WordPress 1.2 that provide compatibility with LiveJournal.
The set includes:
LJ Moods - places moods at the end of WordPress Posts
LJ Music - places current musci at the end of WordPress Posts
LJ Tags - allows the use of LJ user and LJ Cut tags in WordPress Posts
LJ Synch - Synchs posts between WordPress and LiveJournal (turns WP into a very basic LJ client, it supports send mood, music and editing posts)
LJ Extras - A nice GUI interface for setting the Moods, Music and selecting which LJ journal to post to as well as whether or not to synch changes to LJ
