John (32 comments.) — 09/5/2008 @ 1:55 pmthe quality of the themes going down day by day. i guess thats why all are now moving towards premiumn themes. some themes like arthemia, guzel and unstandard are good enough and rest are just passable or simply alike.
this time not any single theme to crave about

I’ve noticed the same trend for quite awhile now. The majority of themers in the WordPress community is high, but there only appears to be a select group of people who on a consistent basis can produce top notch work that they release for free.

I hope I can change that soon. I’ve got a theme in the works that I’ve developing for over two months now. Just gotta get the stylesheet down.

Will this work be based on the whole Child Theme trend?

Most definitely. You can actually see a child theme of it live now at ThemeHybrid.com. I even wrote a post about it.

kitap özetleri (3 comments.) — 09/5/2008 @ 7:30 pmThere is a dearth of good three-column themes at present, and even most of those are not as wide as most Internet users are accustomed to seeing. Please, theme developers, give us many more WIDE three-column themes.

Charles — 09/5/2008 @ 8:09 pmI wish MORE themes would allow for easy custom headers, like the ones Sadish designs, or even Cutline, where they are easy to switch out. Too many designers are making themes that are cookie cutter, with little to no room for customization, and this includes many of the premium ones.
