WordPress Playing Cards Generator lets you display various combinations of playing cards in card games like canasta, thirty-one, pinochle or poker. (English download.) WP Tags to Technorati turns your WordPress tags into Technorati tags. WP User Manager aims at improving the WordPress User Management so that WordPress can be used beyond a blog and something like a CMS. WP User Moderation helps to moderate and approve the WordPress User Account generation.

23 Actionable Lessons from Eye-Tracking Studies: A very nice summary of the eye tracking studies performed at Eyetrack III. The lessons are easy to follow and made a lot of sense to me. I have found most of them to be true in my experience but they can serve as a good guideline for new designs and for a remedial set of guidelines for existing designs.

Accordian oads your wordpress site faster than before, it saves huge space, provides tabbed browsing inside your sidebar using jquery and providing ajax functionality. Advanced Search uses MySQL’s fulltext search as a much more effective search method than the native WordPress search function. Arkayne displays a list of related articles at the bottom each blog entry. Big Surprise allows you to place an item on a post or page that only a specific user can see. WP-Forum Latest Posts lists the latest posts from your WP-Forum. Zune Card adds a sidebar widget and theme function that allow you to easily embed a Zune Card into your theme.

WPhone wins WordPress iPhone Plugin Competition

There was a plugin competition of sorts held mostly on the wp-hackers mailing list on coming up with a plugin that would allow WordPress administration through the iPhone. WPhone has won WordPress iPhone Plugin Competition. Wphone Admin Plugin has its own page and forums and was put together by a collaborative venture between Stephane Daury, Doug Stewart and Viper007Bond. Why You Need to Make a Facebook Fan Page for Your Website NOW!: An interesting bunch of reasons why you should have a Facebook page for your blog or website. Sadly, I get addicted easily and once I got into Facebook, I could not stop. I created a page for this blog, created my profile and then started looking at their API which is incredible.
