Being someone who grew up as a musician/creative — ended-up in and out of bands, and even ended-up setting-up various web sites for bands — GigPress is probably the coolest thing I’ve seen come out in some time. Very neat. (Now, I just hope none of my friends who are still in bands ask me to set up another web site for them as a result. Eeeeek.)

Nice list, the “Trustworthy XHTML” looks like it will solve a bunch of my issues that I have with the text editor and maybe I can start using it again.

I absolutely agree with Daniel that GigPress is definitely something I’ll love *alot* I’m using Events at the moment, but whilst it is being actively developed and is very customisable, it is a slight pain to have to edit the template each time (so I’ve given up). Am looking forwarding to testing it this week. Thanks for the recommendation!

I’ve also been looking for quite some to for a plugin that gives me the functionality that I need (not especially form music, but other event types) So I’m very happy with the GigPress plugin provide by Amphibian
