I’d be a lot more impressed if they would let us play with the colors dynamically. Trying to generate a different ad code for every color scheme on my WPMU site is a big, pointless PITA.

I think I’ll stick to my plugin that let’s me control the color, size, and style of my AdSense on the fly right in WP without having to go to the Adsense site. LOL

I’m disappointed with this new feature. Once I set my colors, they’re not changing. I would like to be able to change the ad-block size and style sometimes however, which is a function lacking here.

The change would be nice if changing the ad-block size was as easy as changing colors, but as is, this is an insignificant change.

dinsan - Option to import old code and convert to new code exists. Just check for the line saying this under Manage Ads. I have used it to convert atleast 5 old codes. Howcome you not seeing it?

Its really good if you just started with google ads
If you are already using it, only difficulty is that, you do not have an option to convert your existing code to this new type of code. So, you will need to do it manually. Once its done.. its awesome !
It takes only few seconds for the changes to take effect !

It is not bad; however, I don’t think it is such a great innovation. I expected that Google would let us more freedom to customize the advertisement, not just integrating the same archaic system to create the Ad into the possibility of modifying it without changing code.

Besides, is it necessary? It’s not like you are going to change your Ad colors every single day, and if you have to change something, you can always copy paste the code (I actually don’t think it is so much work).

Very poor for Google, actually. I expected a better Channel system, maybe some new exciting characteristics, but this is not a big deal.
