Yes, I know what you are talking about. I have had problems with them too. My blog never gets updated at technorati even when I manually ping them.

Thanks for sharing your concerns on this matter.

Fortunately, this blog seems to be working fine, in Technorati — perhaps they fixed (part of) their "migration" problems, by now.

I have had exactly the same problem with my Serre Chevalier site. It is really annoying as it just dropped from #1 to #4 in Google for the phrase "Serre Chevalier".

The death of Technorati is unfortunate, because I relied on the "incoming links" in Wordpress to see who else was trying to have a conversation with me. Now it's like I'm talking to myself (which I might be, it is hard to tell anymore).

Technorati hasn't dropped my blog lately, but it's progressively losing track of inbound linkage (haven't checked for outbound. Life's too short) Despite steadily increasing numbers of links in, my ranking has slipped more than 200,000 points in a fairly short time, and just now Technorati thinks I am am called

There's at least a dozen links to my blog that Technorati doesn't pick up at all despite indexing those sites. Good thing Google isn't that slipshod.

Same thing happened to Linda Buquet of the 5 Star Affiliate blog -- very well known authority blog for affiliate marketers -- yet when she sent in numerous support requests and forum postings, not a single one was answered. It took about a month, but the problem was eventually worked out (her blog's back up, but I never did hear how it was resolved).

Good luck.

Technorati has never really worked well for me. Then again, I'm also having the same problem as Eudo with PageRank, and Jim with the widget in the dashboard (wish I knew how to turn it off).
