WP Plugin: Adsense Injection Insert AdSense ads in various different places on your blog with page loads. This reduces “banner blindness” by moving the ads around. Interesting conecpt and judging from the date of the post, it has been out for a while. I wonder if this really helps in increasing AdSense revenue. [EDIT] Looks like the link is down. [EDIT] Link back up.

I’d be very interested in hearing from anyone who’s actually used this plugin. It sounds interesting, but not interesting enough to try it without some custome testimony

Stefan (1 comments.) — 09/13/2006 @ 1:23 pmIt should be back up now — or very soon once the DNS propagates. I had to change hosts because my other one had a melt down : (
Thanks for the link! I’ve found tons of cool stuff here.

Dax (1 comments.) — 09/13/2006 @ 7:45 pmI gave it a go, and it works well. I may put a check in there for short posts because it looks awful on a one-line message!

When you say it “works well” do you mean (a)it actually shows adsense (b)your click-through rates have improved or stayed the same?
Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan (1 comments.) — 09/14/2006 @ 10:39 amI wonder if it works with themes already optimized for Adsense, like mw1.1. I’ve already got several ads on my site and I don’t want to overdo it. I think since my site is new I will just concentrate on creating quality content for now.
