That’s right folks. Top100bloggers.com has been part of the blogging community now for nearly 6 months and it’s finally time for a small gift. We were back in the studios for weeks with this design and finally finished it up just in time for VDay. Feel free to come take a look at the new design and even register your blog to be ranked on our site! Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far and who have continued to support us, we greatly appreciate it.
Book: Blog Design Solutions Chris of K2, Akismet, Sillyness, Wordpress and many other fames (Boy, I butchered that one) is touting the sale of his book “Blog Design Solutions“. I urge you to pre-order his book if you are into blogging, design or blog and design. Chris is a great designer, a good friend and a very active member of the Wordpress community at large. I have to toot his horn.
Cell Phone Tools Collection Yes, the name has been used before, but what can I say, it fits.
Check out some of the new features including [EDIT] a new text message sender in addition to a bunch of bugfixes. A lot more is coming in the very near future.
Tag Cloud A reader asks:
Do you get anything out of the tagcloud at the bottom Weblog Tools Collection’s navigation page?
I personally like to know what gets thrown on top of which piles. However, are tag clouds useless? Are they useless in the context of blogs? What do you get out of the tag cloud from weblogtoolscollection.com? Did you know it existed? And last but not the least, have you every used a tag cloud to any level of usefulness beside just looking cool?
Most of us either have the Google Toolbar installed in IE and/or have a google search bar in Firefox/Mozilla. My question is, how many of us actually use the toolbar to search for things as opposed to visiting the Google homepage to make the queries?
I personally feel that the Google Homepage helps me formulate the search query better and find myself predominately using the Google Homepage.
Blog advertising is a prickly slope. I have dabbled in this poison for almost as long as I have blogged. Most of my adventures have been less than satisfactory and I have made just enough money to help me host my blogs and services. I recently decided to give Text-Link-Ads a try.
I really like it so far. This mode of advertising works much better than contextual advertising for sites such as mine. Text-Link-Ads are easy to setup and their customer service is excellent. There have been some bugs and discrepancies while they upgraded their systems and changed things around but these have always been resolved to my satisfaction without my interference. Patrick Gavin knows what customer service and a customer based business model is all about.
I love to promote and help businesses that I like. Text-Link-Ads offers a good product, are very easy to deal with and can become a relatively good source of income. Have you used their services? What did you think of it?
