I like this extension, just wish it’d be updated. It’s over a year old and from what I’ve seen WordPress has changed a lot since then, along with an update to Dreamweaver.
I’ve got a Dw extension that offers a very different and curious approach then the tag extension toolbars we’ve seen for Dw in the past. There has been a real gap when it comes to custom theme with WP+Dw, so I’ve developed this extension to give you a ‘draft/simulated’ view of a theme file in Dw’s Design View.
It’ll help you navigate Code View and to see how a WordPress’s Template Tag and CSS attribute can effect your pages and posts. It does this without a server by emulating a psuedo post in Dw’s design view.
Steve is right on the money. I’ve used ThemeDreamer and it’s really a great extension for aiding in WP theme creation. As of this post it’s still in beta, but it’s definitely worth the download.
An avid fan of business, education, technology and finance. I lead a lean, highly focussed and capable team of Java Back End developers and Front End developers through a maze of complex software wizardry to fulfill the web maintenance needs of a large chemical manufacturer. As per Myers-Briggs Personality Types, I am an ESTJ. I pride in a project completed on time and according to plan. My hobbies include all kinds of technology, anything that I can taste and anything that goes fast or flies in the air. I like to read business books and comics in my spare time.
Thanks for the linkback.
I do like this extension a lot.
