  1. It’s not fantastic or humor: Book (in russian) about cat’s created by russian community (Create a Book) on LiveJournal has part for children. This book is ready for press in May 2005. You can download this book from this link.

  2. hehe - I can see it now…on November 5th, Charlotte blogged ‘Some Pig’ and on November 7th, she blogged ‘Terrific’ ..then after the inevitable happened, her offspring had to take up where she left off :)

  3. “web blog”? shouldn’t that rather be “web log”?

  4. Yeah, it should, but I’m guessing the daily readership of “Funky Winkerbean” would be confused by seeing “Web Log,” as most folks don’t know the origin of the word blog.

  5. Also, this can’t be the same cat that was drawing Winkerbean when I was younger. I suspect it was taken over recently. It’s a little known fact that comic strip creators will pass their comic on to younger artists when they decide to retire. They are usually never credited.

However, it could just be that Batiuk has been taking art lessons. Either way, I could be wrong. It has been ten years+ since I read one of his strips.
