MT-Blacklist and Comment Spam Clearinghouse Closed Jay chooses to close down the clearinghouse to protest ubiquitous and unscrupulous programmers hitting the blacklist more than they should have. My personal view on blacklists aside, thanks for all your work Jay. Thanks to Threadwatch for the news.

    3. I used MT-Blacklist for my old site with my old blog, which used MovableType (please excuse the name that some consider profane). But at some point, MT-Blacklist ceased to function. By that time, I already hated MovableType so much and had better plans for my site’s redesign. That’s when I decided to switch to WordPress, the absolute best blog package there is!
