This blog (along with a couple of other services) will be migrated over to a new server over the end of this week and into next. Please bear with me while I put it into place to make sure that this blog is faster and not down as often. During the move, WordPress will be upgraded to the bleeding edge (again) and I will move some of my hacks and modifications into the 1.6 branch of code.

After doing some research, I find that 2o7.net is actually Omniture and many of the sites that are slow to load are running some kind of web analytics software called SiteCatalyst from Omniture. Why would a web company looking to analyze visitors block a whole class B from their DNS servers??

Anconia RocketPost Another highly priced desktop blogging tool. This one lets you download all your existing posts to your desktop which could be really cool if it also downloaded the comments and/or other options on your weblog. It would be like a hybrid Userland/Wordpress blogging tool.

Cool Scripts, LinkyLoo

Codase – Source Code Search Engine : Sweet! This search would have rocked my world exactly a year ago. This only works for C/C++ for now, is syntax aware and the repository is growing. This would be cool if scripting languages could be added. Via Email
