AdSense Bad For Bloggers

AdSense Bad For Bloggers I take it back! Darren, over at ProBlogger, says that he earned between $10,000-$20,000 last month from AdSense. Now, he can get that much because he has 20 blogs, not all of which are about geek stuff (and he says ProBlogger earns terribly) so he has a wide variety of ads. ADSense is not bad for ALL bloggers, just bad for bloggers of the “technical” variety. ;)

    1. Amen to that, the ads that display on Movalog are terrible. If I hadn’t filtered out the crap, the top 10 ads would be for competing blogging software or hosted blogging solutions. Sigh.

    2. I am glad I don’t spend all day talkign about the geek stuff then, however, I am not too bothered. I don’t think anything I write about will ever see a lot of people viewing it :p

    3. I have a theory that technical blogs are visited a lot by people who are used to seeing a lot of the sort of adsense ads that appear on technical blogs!
