Jan Weiß has translated the Wordpress Backup/Restore Plugin for Wordpress 1.5.x and would like to offer it as a download. He has also included a german .po file for the backup plugin. All of the features remain the same and there is nothing new in terms of backup or restore features.

I have my wordpress root in a different directory than my actual website, so this might present a problem in this case. You might want to think about setting it to an absolute value so that this problem doesn’t occur again.
Sorry, I see that you’re using an absolute path, but you may want to look for an alternative variable such as ‘wordpress root’ so that it finds exactly where the files are instead of just going to the root of the website.
IS there any alternative? I’ve tried to search the backup plugin at Skippy.net but failed to find it.
