Weblog-Software Benchmark II
Wordpress, Textpattern, Serendipity and Lightpress compared in this apachebench generated set of results. A fair amount of work went into this analysis and it is worth a read through. As a word of caution, unless your blog is under extreme pressures such as a very weak server or a very high load, the difference in speeds of various blogging programs should not be noticeable.
