Have you checked out the Wordpress Plugin Competition lately? We have over 17 authors already entered in the competition, many with more than one plugin and the announcements continue to flood in! We have large cash prizes, a Sony PSP, Flickr Pro account and much else on the line. There are at least ten different “Developer Wanted” requests on the blog and many, many visits everyday.

So if you are a developer and have not regsitered/started writing a plugin, go and check out the blog and the wiki. You might find something you are interested in or would like to write. The Weblogs.us prize is HUGE (and so are the others) and there aren’t any explicit entries in that category yet. What are you waiting for?

If you are a wellwisher or a blog publisher or are in the business of web design/hosting/blogs, have you gotten you donation in? Would you like a text ad on that blog or the wiki? Would you like your name to be seen and clicked through by thousands of qualified buyers? If so, send us a donation or contact us directly to get your name put in. That blog will be around for a while and I hope will continue to flourish even after the compeition.

We are still looking for more entries and donations. I will be sending out requests for judges sometime this week. If you are asked (and you decide to judge) please keep your participation a secret. Thank you goes out to everyone for their interest!

[EDIT] As a response to the comments, the competition started on the 15th of April and should run for two months exactly. So in that calculation, it will end on the 15th of June.
