Why would you add Google to your del.icio.us bookmarks?: I cannot believe how many people have actually done that! Is there some hidden meaning behind bookmarking Google? How many of you have Google as one of your bookmarks? (not quicklinks or personal toolbar links, pure bookmarks)

    1. There is no hidden meaning. It’s peer pressure. Feel it. Succumb to it.

    2. I link it on del.icio.us so that I can share it with all the people that haven’t heard of it. ;-)

    3. I don’t see any reason to bookmark it on del.icio.us. I do, however, bookmark it deep within my bookmarks. Why? I only have it bookmarked to Google suggest and in Firefox I can just type ‘g’ in the URL bar and press enter and bam! I am there.

    4. Um…n. who hasn’t heard of Google? My dad’s even heard of Google and he doesn’t even know what the internet is…

I’m mind boggled by bookmarking Google though - what about the toolbar?

    5. That’s nothing compared to the 527 people who’ve bookmarked del.icio.us itself! I was the 528th, but I did it to see how many others have bookmarked it!

    11. I have Google (and even http://localhost/) in my Delicious account because I use Delicious whenever I start browsing and I use the Delicious toolbar in Firefox instead of my Firefox’s standard bookmarks.

I presume many people do it for the same reason…
