		<description>I think spammers want people to &lt;em&gt;believe&lt;/em&gt; they don't care about the de-page-ranking techniques or that the measures are useless, in the hope that bloggers will say, "It doesn't work.  Don't bother with that nofollow stuff."  In the same vein some spammers continue to spam sites even though the delivered "goods" fail to contain anything load useful to them!  No blacklisted URLs, no tell-tale names, not even hiding behind open proxies, just lots of vengeful comments designed to annoy and fatigue bloggers into giving up -- preferrably just abandoning the blog but leaving commenting wide open.</description>
