Using Movable Type as a Forum: Is this a good idea with the rebuilding associated with MT? Though, I have to say that the example forum looks, feels and runs much better than any BB that I have used (except MiniBB, but thats another story)

  1. Well Mark, this is quite an interesting post. Do you remember the note I sent you some months ago, wondering about the suitability of this sort of thing for WordPress. You thought it was a bad idea - do you still feel that way about it? Is WordPress a totally different kettle of fish from MT? (Not that I would know). Do you think it’s a bad idea for MT? Personally, I’m not sure what the advantages are - or the cons for that matter!
