Bö 1.0b3 (PHP edition) released: A php preprocessor for John Gruber’s Markdown which adds “Smart Footnote” functionality to Markdown. This particular script is a WordPress plugin but the php code could be used elsewhere as well. There is a Perl version on the linked page.
