A button might be not close enough to the comment form. I just added a line to my wp-comments.php saying that little picture that goes with the comments can be personalized at gravatar.com - that should be pretty selfexplanatory.

I did something very similiar, w/links to my blog entry about gravatars, a link to the site, and a link to the site's FAQ.

Hi, I found a "out-of-the-box" WordPress Gravatar Plugin on ; it's in german, so you can find a ... just copy the .zip into the wp plugin directory, enable the plugin, done: no more changing text, I use it by myself, looks very nice!

I do, and it does look quite silly if you're the only one using it. My gravatar is the only one showing up on my site so it is kind of boring, it looks better if more people have gravatars.

Hi there. Long time reader first time poster.
I've signed up and am a Gravatar user.
A question and an answer to my own question - How would other Gravatar users know if a blog was Gravatar enabled ?
I propose a button should be created and displayed on your blog if you are using Gravatar.
I should mention this to Gravatar themselves actually...
