Many of us work with regular expressions. They are a necessary evil in the wild world of Web design. Many of us create our regular expressions, upload them to the server and then test them. This is such a time killer for those of you on low-band. So the creators of PHPEdit have come up with a solution we will all enjoy, in their RegExpEditor program.

From the site:

“The regular expression editor is a module allowing you to test your PCRE with PHP in a very efficient way. It wraps preg_match, preg_match_all, preg_replace and preg_quote functions, and offers a visual GUI where you can tweak your regular expression easily.”

Now if this isn’t enough to quench your RegEx you’ll want to check out RegExLib.com which boasts:

“Welcome to RegExLib.com, the Internet’s first Regular Expression Library. Currently we have indexed 380 expressions from contributors around the world. We hope you’ll find this site useful and come back whenever you’re looking for an expression for a particular task, or have just figured out a new expression that does something useful. Thanks!”
